Primary Care Physician - South Bay/Torrance - Optum

Position Highlights

• We are looking for Full-Time or Part Time Physicians to join our team
• Quality vs. Quantity Model – Typically see around 18 - 20 patients per day
• Scheduled weekly administrative time, ~40 mins baked into each day
  • 40 min new pt visits, 20 min follow up pt visits
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of health care providers
• Dedicated support staff, so clinicians can focus on practicing at full scope of license
• This position does not require call or urgent care shifts, outpatient only
  • Urgent care shifts are optional for additional pay, not required
• Office hours: Monday – Friday; 8 AM – 5 PM, no nights or weekends

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), Doctor of Osteopathic (D.O.), or M.B.B.S
• Board certification or eligibility in Family or Internal Medicine
• Active, unrestricted medical license in CA or the ability to obtain prior to employment
• Valid DEA license or the ability to obtain prior to employment

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in managed care setting preferred
• Bilingual Spanish preferred
• Open to new grads!

California Residents Only: The salary range for California residents is $237,361 to $331,688. Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement.
