As a Per Diem, as needed non-exempt Occupational Therapist with Optum at Parrish Medical Center, you will evaluate and develop rehabilitation goals to increase self-care and instrumental activities of daily living for inpatients and outpatients with identified mental, developmental, or physical disabilities.  Knowledge of computer-based documentation is a must.  This position may also work at other affiliated locations as needed.

Schedule: Per diem role will work as needed with no set hours

About the Rehabilitation Department:  Department core hours are Monday-Sunday from 7:00am-4:00pm and as needed to support acute care hospital rehab staff.    

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Fill in for full time OTs as needed
  • Evaluation of patient and plan of care
  • Documentation
  • Working with Rehab clinical team members

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Florida Occupational Therapist license in good standing
  • Reliable transportation - this position may float to other Titusville area facilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree
  •  1+ years of outpatient work experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $71,200 to $127,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
