Position Highlights & Primary Responsibilities:

Clinical Assessment

  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for ADHD and related behavioral, emotional, and neurodevelopmental concerns in adolescents ages 12-17, on site

  • Complete structured clinical interviews and evaluations with patients and their parents/guardians.

  • Administer and interpret evidence-based assessment measures, including:

    • Test of Variables of Attention (T.O.V.A.)

    • Behavior Assessment System for Children, Third Edition (BASC-3)

    • Additional standardized measures as clinically indicated

  • Differentiate ADHD from other psychiatric, behavioral, developmental, and learning-related conditions.

Diagnostic Reporting & Family Consultation

  • Prepare thorough psychological assessment reports that provide diagnostic clarification.

  • Develop individualized treatment recommendations and care plans.

  • Review assessment findings with patients and families, providing education and guidance regarding diagnoses and next steps.

Program Development & Collaboration

  • Support the expansion and enhancement of internal psychological assessment services.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary providers, including primary care, behavioral health, psychiatry, and other specialty teams.

  • Participate in weekly team meetings and case consultations.

  • Contribute to quality improvement and program development initiatives.

Additional Opportunities

Required Qualifications:

  • Licensed Clinical Psychologist with unrestricted licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

  • Doctoral degree (PsyD or PhD) in Clinical Psychology or a related field.

  • Minimum of three (3) years of post-licensure clinical practice experience.

  • Demonstrated experience conducting psychological and diagnostic assessments.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience practicing within an integrated healthcare model.

  • Current Massachusetts driver's license.

  • CANS Assessor Certification.

  • Experience working with children, adolescents, and families.

  • Experience with EPIC or similar Electronic Medical Record

The salary range for this role is $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
