The Senior Automation Developer designs, develops, and optimizes advanced automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency, reduce manual work, and improve reliability across the organization. This role requires deep technical expertise across automation frameworks, scripting languages, system integrations, and database technologies. The developer works closely with analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, maintainable, and high-quality automation solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Automation Development & Engineering
- Design, build, and maintain end-to-end automated processes using RPA platforms (UiPath, Power Automate), Python, SQL, and related tools
- Develop and optimize scripts, workflows, and data-scraping solutions to replace manual processes while maintaining high quality
- Create and maintain complex SQL queries to support claim analysis, system integrations, and automation
- Ensure all automation follows best practices for coding standards, security, exception handling, and logging
- Systems Integration & Technical Solutions
- Integrate automations with enterprise systems via APIs, databases, cloud services, and approved technologies
- Maintain and enhance virtual environments (Windows, Linux, Docker) supporting automation workloads
- Research and adopt new tools and concepts to increase automation maturity and technical capability
- Quality Assurance & Support
- Perform unit, integration, and end-to-end testing for automation deliverables
- Troubleshoot and resolve automation issues quickly, performing root-cause analysis
- Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancements to existing automations
- Project Leadership & Collaboration
- Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and define success criteria
- Mentor junior developers and support best practice adoption
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and improvement initiatives
- Assist leadership with prioritization of high-impact automation opportunities

Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of automation development or software engineering, including SQL and Python
- Experience with RPA tools (UiPath, Power Automate, Automation Anywhere) and automation frameworks
- Experience in system integration, APIs, and enterprise data platforms
- Proficiency with Git/GitHub
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with .NET languages, PowerShell, or JavaScript
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Experience with Linux, Docker, or virtualization environments
- Familiarity with AI powered productivity tools to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort
- Familiarity with machine-learning-based document processing

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
