This is a full-time position Monday through Friday tentatively 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM subject to change. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime including some holidays. Our office location is 2716 N Tenaya Way, Las Vegas NV. 

We offer weeks of on-the-job training. The hours of the training will be based on schedule or will be discussed on your first day of employment.     

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage administrative intake of members
  • Work with hospitals, clinics, facilities and the clinical team to manage requests for services from members and/or providers
  • Process incoming and outgoing referrals, and prior authorizations, including intake, notification and census roles
  • Assist the clinical staff with setting up documents/triage cases for Clinical Coverage Review
  • Handle resolution/inquiries from members and/or providers

This is high volume, customer service environment. You'll need to be efficient, productive and thoroughly dealing with our members over the phone. You also must be able to work on a flexible schedule that includes evening hours.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher) OR equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of customer service experience in a healthcare facility
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Ability to work onsite at 2716 N Tenaya Way, Las Vegas NV
  • Ability to work Sunday-Wednesday from 6:00am - 5:00pm, including some holidays
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within the health care Industry and with health care insurance
  • Experience working in a hospital, physician's office or medical clinic setting
  • Experience working in a call center
  • A clerical or administrative support background
  • Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT codes

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $17.98 to $32.12 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
