Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the Behavioral Health, Complex Medical Condition, and OptumCare automation portfolio, representing approximately $40M in deployed solutions
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities, timelines, and strategic objectives
• Coordinate and align cross-functional workstreams to drive successful project delivery and operational outcomes
• Identify and remove delivery obstacles, mitigate risks, and resolve issues to maintain project momentum and execution success
• Leverage AI-enabled tools and insights to improve productivity, decision-making, execution efficiency, and portfolio visibility
• Drive adoption of AI-driven solutions to automate repetitive tasks, streamline workflows, and enhance team effectiveness
• Evaluate and apply emerging AI capabilities and technologies to foster innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
• Monitor portfolio performance and delivery metrics, ensuring commitments are met and business value is realized
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to define priorities, optimize resources, and achieve organizational goals
• Champion a culture of innovation by identifying opportunities to improve processes, accelerate delivery, and increase efficiency through AI and automation

• Comply with all applicable Company policies, procedures, and business directives, changes including those relating to work location, team assignments, work schedules, and flexible work arrangements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field
• 5+ Experience in leading high-performing engineering teams, driving Agile delivery, incident management, automation/AI initiatives, and DevOps best practices
• 3+ years of experience leading technology, automation, software engineering, or operational transformation initiatives
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated leadership experience with responsibility for project delivery, resource coordination, stakeholder management, and team development
• Experience managing portfolios of work, establishing priorities, mitigating risks, and driving execution against business objectives
• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies, project management practices, and performance metrics
• Solid knowledge of software development, automation technologies, and operational processes
• Knowledge of emerging AI trends, capabilities, and best practices, with the ability to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement
• Proven ability to leverage AI-enabled tools and technologies to improve productivity, decision-making, workflow efficiency, and business outcomes
• Proven solid analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to translate complex information into actionable plans
• Proven excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills with experience working across business and technology organizations
• Proven ability to drive organizational change, operational excellence, and adoption of new technologies, including AI-driven solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in Agile, Scrum, Project Management, AI, Cloud Technologies, or other related disciplines
• Experience leading enterprise-scale automation programs and managing large portfolios of deployed solutions
