Position Summary

The Associate Data Analyst supports the development, maintenance, and enhancement of Business Intelligence (BI) solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role is responsible for data preparation, reporting, dashboard development, data validation, and analytical support activities that help business teams monitor performance, identify trends, and improve operational outcomes.

Working closely with business stakeholders, senior analysts, data engineers, and technology teams, the Associate Data Analyst contributes to the delivery of scalable reporting solutions, accurate data assets, and actionable insights through modern BI tools and analytics platforms.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Business Intelligence Development
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, scorecards, and visualizations using Power BI and other BI tools
  • Support the creation of standardized reporting solutions that provide timely and actionable business insights
  • Assist in gathering business requirements and translating them into reporting and visualization solutions
  • Enhance existing dashboards and reports to improve usability, performance, and business value
  • Ensure consistency in metrics, calculations, and reporting standards across solutions
• Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple business systems and data sources
  • Perform ad hoc analysis to support business initiatives and operational decision-making
  • Develop recurring reports and reporting packages for stakeholders and leadership teams
  • Identify trends, patterns, and performance drivers within business data
  • Present findings through clear visualizations and summary reporting
• Data Management & Quality
  • Perform data validation and quality assurance activities to ensure reporting accuracy
  • Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, reporting issues, and metric inconsistencies
  • Support data governance and data quality initiatives
  • Assist with documentation of business rules, metric definitions, and reporting logic
  • Maintain data integrity across reporting and BI solutions
• Data Modeling & BI Support
  • Support the development of data models and semantic layers used for enterprise reporting
  • Assist with data integration and preparation activities required for BI solutions
  • Optimize existing reports and dashboards to improve performance and user experience
  • Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to improve data accessibility and reporting efficiency
  • Participate in testing and validation of new reporting solutions
• Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Partner with business users to understand reporting and analytics needs
  • Provide reporting and dashboard support to stakeholders
  • Communicate analytical findings in a clear and concise manner
  • Participate in Agile development processes and project delivery activities
  • Support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives within the analytics team

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Economics, or a related field
• 1+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Reporting, or related disciplines
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization and reporting tools
• Experience working with Microsoft Excel and large datasets
• Understanding of data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence concepts
• Proficiency in SQL and data querying
• Proven solid analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports
• Experience supporting operational, financial, customer, or digital analytics reporting
• Familiarity with data modeling concepts and reporting best practices
• Exposure to cloud analytics platforms such as Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, or AWS
• Knowledge of ETL processes and data preparation techniques
• Understanding of Agile delivery methodologies
