Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead and contribute to analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, and optimization of complex software systems
- Define and enforce engineering standards, best practices, and quality benchmarks across platforms
- Ensure system designs are scalable, resilient, secure, and maintainable
- Provide technical direction and architectural guidance for new development, enhancements, and modernization initiatives
- Drive quality engineering strategy across the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Ensure quality is built into every stage of design, development, testing, and deployment-not treated as a post‑development activity
- Establish and monitor quality metrics, defect trends, and engineering KPIs
- Champion automation-first approaches for testing, validation, monitoring, and regression coverage
- Influence engineering outcomes at a platform or multi‑product level, rather than a single application or team
- Identify systemic risks, quality gaps, and performance issues and proactively drive corrective actions
- Design and promote reusable frameworks, shared services, and common utilities that improve consistency and efficiency across teams
- Innovation, Tools, and Continuous Improvement
- Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, techniques, and engineering strategies to improve software quality and delivery velocity
- Lead initiatives for automation of repetitive or manual tasks, improving developer productivity and operational efficiency
- Contribute to research and development efforts, piloting emerging technologies and modern engineering practices
- Continuously assess industry trends to identify opportunities to apply technology in new, innovative, and scalable ways
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- B.E. (Computer Engineering) or equivalent from reputed engineering colleges
- 12+ years of relevant software lifecycle experience specifically focusing on Automation Testing & platform validation
- 8+ years of hands-on experience of API & UI automation tests
- 3+ years of working experience in managing quality team members
- Experience with Kubernetes & automated codeable deployments
- Having knowledge of mobile testing with simulator farming test capabilities
- Having knowledge on REST and Spring Boot over any Cloud
- Having knowledge on Perf testing covering Jmeter API
- Knowledge of build tools such as Maven/Gradle
- Proven expertise for Cypress, Playwright based test automations
- Proven DynamoDB/any other No-SQL exposure
- Proven exposure to AWS services, Lambda & containerization
- Proven sound fundamentals of Core Java & type script with automation & tech stack migrations
- Technically hands-on and excellent in Design, Coding and Testing
- Product/Project/Program Related Tech Stack:
- Back End: Java, Spring, Sprint Boot, REST, AWS
- Middleware: Kafka & its ecosystem, Cassandra/NoSQL
- Testing: JUnit, Gatling , Cypress, Playwright
- DevOps: Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, Sonar, Fortify
- Others: JMeter, Groovy
- Development Methodology/Engineering Practices Agile (SCRUM/KANBAN)
