We are seeking a proven healthcare operations leader to oversee all clinical, operational, and business functions of a high-performing Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC). Reporting to the Regional ASC Director, the Senior Manager is accountable for ensuring high-quality, safe and efficient patient care and operational excellence in multiple service lines.
This role is ideal for a results-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced surgical environment, builds solid physician partnerships, and consistently delivers on quality, safety, and financial outcomes.
Primary Responsibilities:
Site Management
Oversees delivery of clinical and operational services across the ASC and actively works with all members of the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient operations.
Ensures quality, safety, and smooth patient flow across all service lines.
Coordinates staffing, equipment, supplies, and resources to meet operational needs.
Maintains an environment of ongoing survey readiness across all areas.
Collaborates with leadership and business functions to enhance care models and operational flow.
Ensures compliance with regulatory, licensing, and accreditation standards.
Staff Management :This role provides leadership and supervision based on site structure and operational needs
In smaller sites, frontline staff will report directly to this role. You will directly supervise clinical and support staff, including hiring coaching and conduct performance evlauations
- At larger sites with layered leadership, you will directly suervise department managers and other assistned non leader staff, providing indirect (skip-level) oversight of frontline staff to ensure consistency in care delivery, performance and culture.
- For all sites, you will provide regular perforamnce feedback and conduct performance appraisals. You will partner with the ASC Educator to oversee orientation, education and staff development. You will plan and participate in staff and leadership meetings, all while promoting a positive, professional and collaborative work eniroment.
- Policies and Procedures
- Develops, implements, and monitors clinical and operational policies and procedures in collaboration with leadership and the ASC Educator.
Ensures staff compliance with policies, procedures, and standards of practice.
Maintains current knowledge of regulatory requirements, equipment, and clinical practices.
Addresses non-compliance issues in collaboration with the Regional ASC Director.
- Quality, Regulatory & Survey Management
- Ensure continuous compliance with federal, state, and accrediting body requirements (e.g., CMS, DOH, AAAHC, QUAD A)
- Maintains accountability for quality, safety, and patient experience outcomes.
Monitors performance metrics, and implements improvement initiatives. Leads site regulatory, licensing, and accreditation surveys, including preparation, coordination, execution, and follow-up; develops and ensures completion of Plans of Correction (POCs), under the oversight and direction of the Regional ASC Director
Ensures adherence to infection control, safety, and clinical standards.
Escalates compliance risks and issues as appropriate.
- Financial & Strategic Planning
- Meets regularly with leadership to review operations and performance.
- Assists with budget preparation and management of financial performance.
Monitors staffing efficiency, supply utilization and operational costs.
Identifies opportunities to improve efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Supports growth, scheduling optimization and service expansion initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Maintain current WA DOH Registered Nurse Licensure; BLS Certification
- Minimum of 2 years leadership experience in a clinical setting or equivalent
- 3 years of clinical nursing experience in a ambulatory surgery center, perioperative services, OR, GI/Endoscopy, or PACU and 2+ years leadership experience

- Master's Degree
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $91,700 - $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
