Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Develop, consolidate and managed consolidated Optum financial reporting through working with segment finance partners
  • Maintain and manage Optum's financial warehouse supporting financial reporting to leadership and UHG
  • Partner in preparing enterprise executive reporting in support of monthly business reviews, annual business planning and long-range planning
  • Produce clear, well-formatted reporting that communicate a clear, compelling message for their stakeholders including month-end, quarterly forecast and ad hoc requests
  • This position is on Optum Corporate's FP&A team, which will give the candidate excellent exposure to all of Optum's businesses and a unique view of the work being done by senior management

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business 
  • 4+ years of financial analysis or accounting experience 
  • Proven experience driving business performance in a high growth environment 
  • Intermediate level (pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, index matching) of excel skills 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Healthcare experience 
  • SmartView/Essbase 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $72,800 to $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
