As Sr. Tech Support Analyst, you will be the subject matter expert for system integration and be part of an agile team that delivers and supports Imaging solutions at Optum. Your role will include ongoing integration developments for various customers and will extend from helping conceptualise and design new solutions, to ultimately implementing and delivering those solutions.
The Sr. Tech Support Analyst works as part of an agile scrum team under the guidance of the Sr. Manager, Enterprise Information Services.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, & test HL7 interfaces using industry leading Integration Engines
- Assist with the management of the current integration architecture
- Evaluate and improve upon existing Enterprise Imaging solutions
- Translate business needs to technical specifications
- Define application design by analysing requirements and understand architectural environments
- Development and execution of automated tests covering testing at the unit, system, and performance levels
- Host and co-ordinate live customer testing
- Develop and execute database queries and conduct ad-hoc analyses
- Collaborates with the other team members throughout the development lifecycle, including working closely with members from different functional groups such as Product Management, Support, Services and Sales
- Supports the release effort and helps troubleshoot and correct post-deployment issues
- Develop and update technical documentation
- Accepts ownership for taking on new problems and challenges and proactively explores opportunities to add value to the overall software development effort within the organisation

Required Qualifications:
- Degree in computer science or related field; or equivalent work experience
- Proven extensive experience of working with HL7 and Integration Engines
- Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of HL7
- Working with Integration engines (Cloverleaf, Mirth, Rhapsody etc.)
- Background in scripting languages (C#, JavaScript, VBScript)
- Demonstrable background in SQL Server or Oracle
- Proven experience working with Imaging data
- Proven experience working in the Healthcare domain or with healthcare data
- Proven solid experience in HL7 and Integration Engines
- Proven experience with RDBMS
- Proven experience with T-SQL\PL-SQL
