We seek a Per Diem Fulfillment Pharmacist for our home delivery pharmacy in Charlotte, NC who is primarily responsible for performing the final quality check on our members' prescription orders and assisting in all areas of Pharmacy Fulfillment. Per Diem Pharmacists are classified as temporary employees and work on an intermittent basis. The pharmacy hours are Sunday 3:00pm-11:30pm, Monday - Thursday 6:00am-11:30pm, and Friday 6:00am-2:30pm.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform final verification of dispensed prescriptions prior to orders being packed and shipped
  • Oversees the activities of pharmacy technicians, clerks, and other personnel
  • Organizes workload, sets priorities, completes assignments in a timely manner
  • Utilizes resources appropriately while complying with department program standards
  • Performs all duties and functions in compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations
  • Assist Pharmacy Manager and/or Pharmacist-in-Charge in various projects as needed
  • Conforms with and supports department quality assurance and improvement guidelines
  • Ability to flex into all operational areas pharmacy, including inventory, picking, and packing

Required Qualifications:

  • BS in Pharmacy or PharmD degree
  • Active pharmacist license in North Carolina
  • 1+ years of experience working as a licensed Pharmacist
  • Ability to work the required hours, but also the flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends as necessary


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a retail pharmacy setting
  • Experience working in a mail order setting


Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $44.09 to $78.70 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
