As a Principal Systems Management Analyst focusing on Epic Healthy Planet and Epic Cheers, you will partner with clinical, operational, and technical leadership to drive population health strategies and patient engagement workflows. You will lead the technical design, build, optimization, and release of value-based care tools, registries, and targeted campaign outreach to improve care gap closure and clinical quality performance across the organization.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Partner with operational and clinical stakeholders to develop and maintain Cheers campaign workflows that improve patient engagement, preventive care outreach, and care gap closure efforts
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Cheers campaigns and patient engagement strategies, supporting the design and optimization of targeted patient outreach initiatives within Epic
- Serve as the Healthy Planet subject matter expert, providing strategic and technical guidance on Epic population health capabilities, workflows, registries, reporting, and outreach tools
- Partner closely with clinical, operational, and executive leadership to translate value-based care priorities into scalable Epic solutions that support quality, risk, and care management goals
- Lead the design, build, testing, and release of Healthy Planet tools and workflows, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy, operational readiness, and end-user needs
- Evaluate current-state workflows and identify opportunities to optimize Healthy Planet functionality to improve care gap closure, patient outreach, quality performance, and provider efficiency

Required Qualifications:
- Epic Healthy Planet certification
- 7+ years of progressive experience supporting Epic Healthy Planet or population health applications in a complex healthcare environment
- 7+ years of expertise in workflow design, system configuration, testing, implementation, and release management
- 7+ years of strong knowledge of value-based care operations, patient outreach, and clinical workflow optimization
- 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional technical projects with clinical and operational stakeholders
- 3+ years of experience with Epic Cheers functionality, patient outreach campaign workflows, or CRM tools within Epic
Preferred Qualifications:
- Epic Cheers certification
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience in healthcare systems management)
- 3+ years of experience with clinical quality metrics (e.g., HEDIS, MIPS, MSSP) and care gap management strategies
- Experience integrating Epic Cheers and Healthy Planet with MyChart or external patient engagement platforms
- Proven experience presenting strategic technical solutions and population health metrics to executive leadership

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $112,700 - $193,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
